Stunned to read this.  Stunned and saddened.  I'm just so very sorry sweet Riley had to head to The Rainbow Bridge. ,

We all hate this disease so much.  It is so cunning  and brutal and savage.  We never know where it's lurking hidden from all.  The best preliminary  work ups just can't  detect everything.  What should  have been the upset and downs of rec that we've seen here, reminded is that there may always be something  else hidden. So we proceed forward to give our dogs the very best chance at extended quaility  time.   That's  what Riley wanted  from you.  That what Riley  expected  from you.   She knew you loved her so much jat you would do whatever  it takes to help her.  And when she told you she wanted to be free from her failing earth clothes, you gave her the gift of relase.  She knew you loved her enough to do that for her. ♥️

I know her "extended" time was so minimal.  Of course, Riley doesn't  count days on a calendar...that's  a hooman fault.  I do know one think that tickled me during this time of knowing jer was how stubborn she was.  She would happily use the ramp...only when she wanted to!  She always outsmarted you when you tried to hide the pills.  AMND she l0ved her belly rubs.

Thank so much for coming back and updating us.  I know it was hard.  I hope also in so e small way it gives you comfort to know we understand the deep, bond you and Riley have.  We saw the love and devotion.  If you feel like it, I would be honored to post some pictures for you.   Jist PM (private message) me, I'll send you my email and uou can send me some to put on here.

May all the Hapoy mem yoj ans Riley shared help heal your heart.  It's a slow process and I know the void is still so painful.  Always remember,  Riley wants you to be happy.
