Just want to make sure folks know to ask for this brand new med if their pup is having "CID." It's worth asking about off-label use for cats too.
It's called Canalevia CA-1, and was just released. It's the only FDA conditionally approved product to treat chemotherapy-induced diarrhea (CID) in dogs.
Canalevia-CA1 normalizes fluid flow to reinstate normal function in the GI tract and is an antidiarrheal, enteric-coated tablet for oral administration. It acts locally and it is not absorbed into the blood stream, resulting in a well tolerated and non-opioid drug product.
It is naturally and sustainably harvested from the sap of a medicinal tropical plant, the Croton lechleri tree.
Thanks Jerry! It's truly amazing the medicinal properties that so much of Nature has available to us😎
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
