ARMAC (Akita Rescue Mid-Atlantic) has a GORGEOUS tripawd youngster (2 yrs old) available right now. If I weren't already at animal quota (or over, according to my husband :p), I'd totally go and get him.
He's on the smaller side, at 70lbs, and it says he's good with all sorts of people--old, young, strangers, friends, and also with other animals (if you know akitas, that's a goldmine right there!). ARMAC is in the MD/VA/D.C. area.

I don't know this dog--just follow akita rescue, so you'd have to contact them directly.

Gryphon is already almost 80 and not quite 7 months old...so, yeah, I probably have a skewed sense of size :p
