Hi all, I just heard about this sweetheart a couple days ago from an email list I'm on. Her name is Violet, she's 4 years old and has quite a story. She was attacked by her owner's other dog, and her owners let her suffer for hours and possibly a day before taking any action. And no, that action wasn't taking her to a vet; they dumped her on a local breed rescue instead! So Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue is taking care of her, she had a lot of serious injuries and her front right leg was amputated due to a severe break. They're taking donations toward her care, and of course she needs a forever home. Tickled Pink has a Facebook page with plenty of pictures of Violet as well as Eeyore, another amputee who needs a home. Definitely check them out, and if you know anybody who loves beautiful Weims, pass on their information. Thanks so much!
