This is a sad case, a pair of staffies need to be rehomed. One is a tripod, Tanna, who is only about 18 months old. He was injured as a pup and lost his left front leg. Kya is between 7 and 8 years old, and - unfortunately - may be pregnant.
These are family dogs, housetrained, used to kids, described as having a lovely temperament, and have to be rehomed through no fault of their own. They are not my dogs, but belong to the daughter of a traveller who has become a friend of mine. Due to her home circumstances she doesn't want to give me her name, but you can use me as a contact. My traveller friend is very anxious to place them well, and not let them fall into the hands of dog fighters or anyone who may abuse them, so doesn't want to advertise them free on Craigslist or anything, but no charge will be made for them and she says they can arrange delivery - though I'm not sure how far. The dogs are in the Peterborough, Cambs (UK) area.
They are not neutered (sigh), and they'd like them to go together because Tanna gets anxiety problems if he's left alone - he's never been without another dog, and is very attached to Tya.
Yes, I know this is a long shot, but fingers crossed we can find them a loving home!

Oh Jay, they are adorable and you are a SAINT!!
I can tell how jard this is for your friend and how carefully she's trying to get the word out in the right way.
Thank you Jay. Long shots work sometimes!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Ohhhhh thank you for sharing this, what a sweet little duo! Please keep us posted on how they're doing and we'll help get the word out as well.

Thanks, Benny55 and Jerry. Yes, sometimes long shots work, and let's hope so this time! They do look sweet, don't they? They look like quite small staffies, too. So much easier for a small dog with a low centre of gravity, than my big old Sid who is tall and narrow. I'm sure the little guy will do well for a very long time, if he gets into the right home. Bless them.
I'll certainly let you know if I have any news. My friend is working quite hard at getting the word out among trusted people, so she may be able to resolve this herself. 🙂
