Hello friends!
The Humane Society of Tulsa, Oklahoma has a 4 month-old tripawd kitten named Xavier available for adoption. Poor baby was hit by a car and it appears to be a rear leg amputation. No information on when amputation occurred. According to his information he is very sweet and does just great on 3 legs.
I am allergic to cats or I'd have to take him home!

Lily the Great Dane (she was actually a lot more than just "Great") joined our family as an ornery puppy on December 20, 2005 and changed our lives forever. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in early May of 2014 and her right rear leg was amputated on May 8, 2014. She sailed through 5 rounds of Carboplatin and 15 weeks of Pallladia. She hopped on 3 legs like she was born to it and continued to fight cancer with grace, valor and an abundant sense of humor...and always a *giant* smile on her face. Lily had two small nodules on her lungs but was brought short by a brain tumor in late December, 2014. Lily earned her wings on December 28, 2014 and we miss her terribly every day. http://lilyt.tripawds.com

Aww, thank you, Sally! I hope the little guy finds a home really soon....once you've shared your life with a Tripawd, they all feel like family!
It really makes my day to hear that you think about Lily 🙂 She was awful special and I am so glad she lives on with Tripawds alums as well as in our hearts and memories. Whenever I hear about new Tripawd families I think about the *tremendous* pride I felt for Lily in how beautifully she tackled becoming a tripawd.....I know I don't have to tell you how that feels! I am always excited for those families to reach those firsts when everything clicks for their new tripawd and their faces hurt from smiling so big! Such a wonderful way to remember Lily 🙂
Love and hugs to you and your family!
