This 3 legged little boy is in an owner surrender at the Maryville City shelter and he has until Tuesday, April 24th. So we will need to work fast to find him a home, so please everyone share this boy's story. His name is Trips and looks like a Jack Russel mix, he is a young adult about 2 to 3 years old, neutured, housetrained and adoption fee is $20. He has had a rough start, first lost his leg and now left behind. He can be adopted at anytime since he is an owner surrender, the shelter is located on 426 Home Ave and will be open tomorrow from 10am to 1pm. Please share to find his forever home this time. He is confused and little stand offish but started warming up to us the more we talked to him. Call Diane 865 748-3015 or Afton 865 660-7582 for more information on his adoption or fostering this guy to give him some more time. Thanks!

thanks carla for posting this. i got it going on facebook, but didn't get it copied here. this pup is across the river from us, and i can gladly go over and check him out if anyone has any questions... our inn is pretty full with s.b. sam and f. melanie (and three kitties) or we'd consider adding him to our menagerie... if it's a transport issue - we can help with that too. he's so young, and jrt's are such smart pups...hope he is saved!!!!!

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
