I tried calling Sally for this one (check your messages Sally!) but wanted to post this. They are horrible at returning phone calls (just fyi). Its the same place I got both Tanner and Jake from. Wish I could take her!! If Sally's not interested, and anyone else is I am HAPPY to go check her out for you!!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
AND her name is JILL AND he's missing the same leg as my JILL!!!!!!!!!!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. THANK YOU, THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! I'm checkng this girl out!! I think I'm going to become a tripawd hoarder!!! I've also put out my info. for tat tripawd from Michigan too! Unfortunately because of my work schedule and distance of the shelter....it's just not going to be possible to get there til Tuesday! I am going to leave a gazzillion messages though.
Because of some things going on right now...this may not be the right time for me to adopt. At least she's in a good home as is the Pittie from Mich. so a delay (if I do proceed) is at least not making the dog suffer in a shelter!
I HAVE to make sure she's dog friendly...an absolute must! I don't have kids so that's not an issue.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
She's a pretty gal, Sally.....

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
