URGENT: Diana - Adoptable Tripawd Rottweiler
Diana has been through a lot in the last week. She was given up by the family that have cared for her for the last 2 years after she was hit by a car. She had to have her leg removed as you can see in the picture and now she is all alone at the shelter. Diana needs a home or at least a foster home asap. She is a calm well mannered girl. She is a larger girl weighing arond 65 pounds. Her vet said she felt she would have no lasting effects from her injury and should do well on three legs. Diana is about 3 years old, best guess. She does great with other dogs and people. [Complete Details]

I posted this on my facebook page. I have some relatives in the region, so maybe they are interested or know someone interested in this sweetie!
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Really?! I hate to sound judgmental, and certainly do not know all the circumstances, BUT, I simply cannot imagine...
All the best thoughts in the world for Diana and hopes she will find that special tripawd family who will treat her like the queen she is.
