We received word from a person in Riverside who is looking for the perfect home for her Tripawd, Peggy. Here's what she says:

I have raised her from Baby and She is Truely Too Special. Looking for the Perfect Forever Home for this Gorgeous Luvable 6 mo Spayed Female Purebred Samoyed Baby. She Luvs Hugs, kisses, to lay on Ur lap, is Very Submisive, Luvs dogs n people n kids, but would be better placed in home with small or no dogs because she is not very strong if pushed by large or medium size dog.

Her Mom and Dad are Both OFA hip certified and come from Wonderful lines all Certified as well, but like everything in life, they are just animals, things can go wrong Very Sadly!

She had Bad Right Rear Leg that didn't work at all though she could still walk, and drag it , to the point where we decided her Only chance at a Better life was to Amputate. She had her surgery 11 weeks ago and Did Very Well with her recuperation, but needed to be confined for about 8 weeks in a Small area 4x4 pen. That didn't help her good rear leg so Then I started exercising her slowly in back yard to strengthen her rear leg slowly and she showed improvement and could walk n even run some on grass, concrete, or Carpet like a Happy Girl.

She is about 27lbs 19"to shoulders and shouldn't weigh more than bout 40lb at full grown and 2" taller full size
But Good Flooring is Essential for her to be mobile without falling

So I then decided to Spay her as well since she's 6 1/2 mo because I want to make Sure she's not bred after I place her and I have an Unaltered male at home so I didn't want to take the Gamble . She did Fine as well and just getting around but she is Delicate and I made the mistake of letting her out with big dogs and I believe she somehow hurt herself slightly and her rear leg is unfortunately sometimes sliding out from under her when walking on concrete. and she needs a Person that is willing to immediately get her some Physical Therapy to help Strengthen her rear leg again. She is capable of walking on all Porous floors like Carpet, grass, concrete, but Slips and falls on Slippery floors.

She is potty trained to use grass but uses Piddlepad to poop sometimes inside but I have not wanted to crate potty train her cause she's been thru Soo much in her young life. She's on Dry Dog food 2x per day and I INSIST she be kept on her food natural Balance salmon and Sweet Potato Only as its Great for her Breed, and White coat, skin ....and her Stool is Great and firm .

I Do NOT want this home to end up in a Cart. That is no life for a puppy and she should be able to manage on 3 legs I hope. Also if Possible I would like to remain in contact with future owner so I can know of her and her life!
