This is Quad. The last of an orphaned abandoned litter of six, he is waiting to meet his forever family. A sweet loving energetic 9 week old Am Staff/ Boxer mix born missing his lower left limb, Quad is an orange brindle green eyed love sponge who enjoys cuddling, kissing, snuggling, hugging and general lovins. Q is looking for his happy ever after. Could it be with you? Please contact me via email.

Hi Susan,
Thanks for sharing him. Do you have photos you can share? Or video? Here's a tutorial about adding images to the Forums.
P.S. I've hidden your email so that you don't get inundated with spammers or scammers who crawl the web looking for emails.

Hi! You guys have been so wonderful, any ideas on how to boost this? I’ve tried posting on social media, but the rescue sites will not repost it. Poor Quad is getting lots of attention and well wishes, but no love match yet ☹️. I love Quad so much and wish I wasn’t 100lbs of woman with 225lbs worth of rescue dogs or I’d keep him. He’s such a sweet love. Any suggestions on how I might find him the forever home of my (and his) dreams? Please help!!!!
Susan, are you working with a rescue for Quad? Or doing this on your own? If you are doing this on your own, you may want to see if a local rescue will take him into their program, if you volunteer through their fostering program.
Also keep in mind that adoptions all over the country are really slow right now. The German Shepherd rescue I work with is experiencing slow times out in CA, and it's pretty much the same everywhere. But don't give up! His special home is out there. I'm surprised that he's still available, Tripawds get adopted really fast typically.
Hi Jerry. Yes I’m on my own. Every single rescue I’ve reached out to says they are all full and cannot help. Rescue social media sites won’t post or repost pups not within their own rescue. If I dumped him at their door they’d of course take him. But that would never be an option because A) he’s a sweet sensitive love I could never abandon and B) I want to personally know he’s going to a loving home. So Im trying flyers and local neighborhood social media sites. Four of the six found homes. I’m just running out of time and options. I also still have his blind sister Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez too so it’s getting hard as they get older and more mobile. Special needs dogs are the absolute best, why are they always the last to be adopted? These two are such melt in your arms babies. So, anyways, thanks for hearing my rant and helping so much. It’s much appreciated. ❤️
Hey Susan, rant away. You are doing amazing, lifesaving work, thank you!
It's a bad situation out there for rescues and shelters, I have to turn people away all the time in when they email the group I work with, it breaks my heart.
I guess my question is, when you reached out to the rescues, were they local to you, and did you offer to sign on to be a foster with them, to foster this dog? That's about the only way the rescue I work with will take in dogs right now, and the potential foster still has to go through the application process to foster. If you express that you are willing to do that, there's got to be one who will take both dogs on board.
Tripawds get a lot of attention for rescues in terms of donations, so there's bound to be one out there who sees the value of bringing on someone as dedicated like you, and a dog like him and his sister.
Jerry, You and I think alike! I will foster until adoption and I’ve stated this. I guess they figure it’s not as desperate as most because they have a loving home right now, even if it’s temporary. So I guess we are at the bottom of the list. I have three or four local people who have inquired so 🤞🏽🤞🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽. I will keep you informed of the outcomes. I’m delivering two pups to Denver tomorrow….😵
I get it, how frustrating!
Ohhh I hope the possible candidates work out. Please refer them to our articles about adopting a Tripawd to give them some info about life on three legs:

That's awesome you found homes for two of the pups! Great job!
Back from Denver and everything went fabulous. I can’t give Frontier Airlines enough accolades for how they treat the furry family members that fly with us. I’ve never had an easier time. And the plane had more animals on it than humans!
So we are down to the final two…still hoping Quad finds the special hooman made just for him🤞🏽🙏🏽I will keep you guys posted. Thank you and the tripawds community for all the love, support and well wishes. It was much appreciated and sorely needed. ❤️❤️❤️
