GERRY'S MOM! You are a "Sak t"! I applaud you for keeping on keeping on.....he WILL find a home!
I missed that second video of him playng ball......meltng tnto a puddle over here! Such a sweetheart!
Just syou'll know.....this re-post did jog my memory of so ene to mention Mr. Wonderful to. He actualy works in my vet's office and just lost a pittie mix to that piece of crap disease before he could follow through with a planned amputation.
I'll tr mh best to get to thekr office and show him tnis....it may not happen til next week ....or maybe after Christmas.
If I just have him sign on nere as a guest and direct him to your thread, he'll be avle to see it right? So I'll try that approach first.
Don't know if his heart's ready...but it's worth a try!
Love to you!
Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Yep. Don't even have to be signed in to look at stuff, only to respond (and that can be as a guest, but then moderators check the post before it appears). Thanks Sally and Happy Hannah!
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.

I'll try to get confirmation, but I don't see Mr. Wonderful listed with the available dogs anymore! Which means he is most likely home for Christmas!!!

All tripawd paws crossed over here! We'll be waiting! And give us as many details as you can find out about his forever home whenyou can, okay?

Well, don't get any hopes up for details. That's probably confidential and I'm not going to ask. But if they tell me anything beyond a confirmation of interest, I will certainly post that as well.
It's really almost for sure that the only reason he's off the website is he has been adopted. They've given him an ampuation, made videos, and they recently got a grant to take on animals from other shelters in need, so it's much too soon for anyone to have given up on his adoptability. If a health issue came up though, they might take him off the available list until he's better. Depends. I'd say it's safe for us all to celebrate Mr. Wonderful's wonderful new life, though.
