I wasn't sure where to post this, but the link provided is a local story here in Nashville about a man who lost his Tripawd named Tripod in a van that was stolen. The van was recovered in Indianapolis, but the dog is still missing.

I figured it wouldn't hurt to share this here for anyone who might see Tripod in social media seeking to be adopted, etc.
Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Makes me nauseous thinking what that poor man is going through. A missing dog...a missing tripawd dog...one of the most helpless feelings in tne world.
Knowing that Frankie was "found as a stray" and in a recue shelter for months with no owner showing up, bothers the heck out of me. It haunts me that there is some grieving family who will never know what happened to their dog. The Rescue group in North Carolina was wonderful, but I questioned them many times over about the efforts put into finding the owner. I never felt like there was a lot of effort. Seems putting a "found three legged Coonhound" on facebook, newspapers, etc.would have found the owner.
Oh my...Im rambling!
Hoping with all my heart they find this dog.

GREAT NEWS!!! Tripod has been found and reunited with his owner! I just saw it on the news this morning. I don't know the details other than he was in Indiana.
