Tyson, a miniature Doberman pincher who lost one leg after being hit by a car and left for dead, is seeking a forever home, reports his "foster pet mom,'' Ronda Sweet of Save-An-Angel in Metairie.
Tyson is about 8 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. "He can't wait for his walk and he loves to watch TV on the couch. When he gets cold, Tyson burrows under the covers,'' Sweet said.

Tyson is just precious as he can be!!! I'm partial to the Dobie's (large and small) and the burrowing must be inherit with the breed. My big Dobie pup Lucian (as well as my precious Leland) love to burrow under the covers in bed.
I will keep my fingers crossed and send up a prayer that Tyson will find his forever home.

May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
OMG .. those ears!!! How cute is he? I wish I still lived in New Orleans.
Burrowing is part of the breed? Then perhaps Jasper is part mini-pin... she loves to burrow herself under my covers... sadly she also burrows into people's laps and puts her face in all inappropriate places. Sigh.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
