Actually, she has a ticket out, she just needs a home! She was rescued by a kind person and Vafa Shelter, the only shelter for dogs in Iran is helping to get her out of the country. Here is her story......
Panbeh was found about three months ago roaming the lakeside of Oroomiyeh.
The person who found her decided to keep her but because of her unknown breed and weak eye sight the father of the family strongly resisted this.
Then about a month and a half later for unknown reasons Panbeh fell from the house balcony and broke her front right leg?! She was taken to the vet, because of the lack of expertise and experience in radiology and orthopedics, herroken leg was braced instead of being put in a cast.
In less than a week Panbeh's leg became infected and started to go black. In the next visit to the vet, in order to escape the burden blame (for the wrong diagnosis) the vet diagnosed Panbeh with distemper (which is viral infection in puppies and young dogs and can often lead to death) and removes her braces - which he should never have as it lead to the infection becoming worse -
Panbeh's leg started to literally rot.... Anyway, after going to one of the best vets in Oroomiyeh it was then decided that in order to save Panbeh's life, her leg had to be amputated, but her owner decided to put Panbeh to sleep because he didn't want a crippled dog with an unknown breed!
Our group stepped in and saved Panbeh's life by amputating the leg.
Right now Panbeh is with us but really needs a home where she can be safe, loved, comfortable with access to a secured outdoor area.
She deserves to live in peace from here on with people who will love her unconditionally.
Her guardian Angel (Ramona) has graciously offered to sponsor and cover all her expenses to her forever loving home. If you're interested to learn more about Panbeh or to consider adopting her, please EMAIL: kfravon@yahoo.com

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Oh, she's just beautiful! What a sweet face. I hope she finds a loving home!
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Oh sweet girl. We'll do what we can to help her find the home she deserves.
