Spirit Cemil's mom Mary asked me to post this here. NASRN is National Anatolian Shepard Rescue Network

TEXAS, Ft. WORTH AREA; **URGENT - IN SHELTER** "NEEDS FOSTER HOME"
Contact jma18@tds.net

Sometimes NASRN gets asked to help with a special case. This is one of those times.

Julia, as the shelter has named her, has an old injury that obviously was never attended to by her previous owners. Last week she and her sister were both dumped on a road and picked up as strays by Animal Control in the same spot a few days apart. Julia will be euthanized unless NASRN agrees to take her. She and her sister have both been sadly neglected and are extremely thin, but they are both very sweet, loving dogs that would like another chance.

Julia's leg will likely require amputation and NASRN needs a medical foster home in order to save her. This means that we need someone committed to providing a stable, comfortable and nuturing environment for her while she recuperates from surgery. NASRN will cover her medical expenses but without a place for her to go we will have to turn down the shelter's plea for help.

If you can possibly help by becoming a NASRN medical foster for Julia, please contact jma18@tds.net.

Really glad she's getting another chance.

I hate people sometimes. Especially those who would neglect and dump those sweet souls.

David and Rocky (and Baxter now too!)

Rocky had his right front leg amputated on Valentine's Day 2017 after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma.

He joined the September Saints on September 3, 2017.

He is the toughest, bravest, sweetest and best friend I'll ever know.

okay, didn't know about the Anatolian rescue facebook page - thank you for that. Loved seeing puppy pictures so I can imagine the Roxinator as a puppy!

Sorry, overall off topic but they are such gorgeous dogs. (yes, I'm a little prejudiced).

hugs to all

Teri, the Roxinator and Angel Isa

Right rear leg amp 7/12/16 due to OSA. Metastatic lesion on her right front leg, January 2017. Joined the Winter Warriors January 19, 2017. Run free my sweet girl.
