Okay Elizabeth...I glanced very quickly at your thread title! For about a second I thought you were now adding MORE tripawds for Rosxoe and Tanner to play with!!! I thought it jist might through Eric over the edge!!! Then I thought...well....maybe that isn't all bad! Perhaps Eric would find an "older woman" with just ONE TRIPAWD a pretty good catch after all!!!
How I wish I could adopt them all !! You've certainly c o me to the right place to find prospects!! Bery sweet! Then again, that's because you are!!!!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
AND there is an adorable shepherd mix puppy with a deformed leg needing amputation on their website! Look for Theo. He is currently unavailable until his amp but you can submit an application

This is the Rescue we got Daryl from. They are wonderful! I have seen these also. Told Hubby that Daryl needs a brother, but he laughed at me. I was looking at the Yellow/ Reddish Lab. Tonight, I saw the Black one. Looks a lot like my Daryl. Oh my, I have to stop looking. Seriously, they are terrific to work with if you are interested in adopting. You have to live within 6 hours. They bring the pet to you. I am surprised at the number of Tripawds they have taken in recently. I think I heard someone who Loves Shepherds say they were looking???? Rene??? Theo is pretty cute. TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
Sally you are too funny!! If I added any more furkids I'd HAVE to send Eric over to you, there would be no more room here LOL.
Lori I didn't know that's where you adopted Darryl from! I just love what they are doing for all these dogs that most shelters wouldn't. LOVE it!!

The $300 adoption fee is a bargain. They arrive to their new homes fully healed and they do spay or neuter them. A lot of them are 1 or 2 so that isn't such a big thing. They already have that protection of being intact when thay are young. I will have to post a picture of Daryl before his amp. I only have one and it is sort of hard to see. His leg was folded under and he was walking on his knee they said. They have some of the cutest pups on wheels. I don't think they adopt them out, they seem to be permanent residents. I loved their Christmas float. Lori, Ty & the gang

I just clicked on their website and wow....what a special group of people!! They have wonderful hearts to give a place to blind, hearing impaired, and furkids needing amputation!! I was drawn to little Theo but Lucian would plow him right over with his 100lb body and puppy brain...
Plus 2 puppies in the house...hubby would definitely ship me off if I tried that one...LOL! So I will have to settle for crossing my fingers and sending up a prayer that Theo finds his perfect forever home after his surgery.

May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
Just noticed that these sweeties are still awaiting adoption. Aww who can resist?

The first one looks like Daryl, just missing the opposite leg. Maybe I need a matched pair. Maybe since Hubby has basically stolen Daryl, he would let me......not happening. That little beagle mix......oye, I need to stop. Just another plug for them, if you are considering adopting, they are terrific to work with. They are legitimat and truly care about animals.
