Eva is a female husky who is only a little over a year old. She is currently located at the Oswego Animal Shelter in Oswego, NY. She is running out of time at the shelter, they usually only keep dogs available for 8 months before they are euthanized. She's been there for over 6 months now.
This is from the description from her Petfinder page:
Eva was dropped off around Xmas time. She had an injury to her front foot that cause her a great deal of discomfort. It was never fixed by the previous owner and the leg was removed. She is also spayed and vaccinated. She has some issues with protecting her bed and doesn't like to be mauled by strangers. She loves to ride in the car, take long walks or runs. She is not protective of people, just herself. She is only about a year old and trains easily with treats. She will need exercise, she is faster on three legs than she was on four.

She is listed as needing a home without kids, cats, or other dogs. I don't know much about her personally but her story grabbed me.

Oh bless you for listing her here, she is gorgeous! It's hard to believe she's been there so long. We'll do our best to help you get the word out!
