PetsAlive West in Elmsford New York has not one, but two tripawds available for adoption! Please spread the word about these fantastic pups.
Olympia is quite the champion, getting around on 3 legs without missing a beat! She has such a great personality, not letting her "disability" slow her down one bit. We're not even sure she knows she's missing a leg (shhh! don't tell her!). Olympia is a sweet girl, 4 yrs old & ready for a new life with a family who has unconditional love for this very special lady! She likes all people and is especially good with children.
To meet Olympia, please fill out an online application! http://tinyurl.com/dogapp
We'll review it and get back to you as soon as possible! ***If you have a YAHOO email address*** please check your spam folder if you have not received a response after a few days. Please be patient with us as we take every application seriously and will review yours to make sure you are a good match with the dog …

Here's the other one. Why do I know this? I clicked on her based on her looks alone before I saw she was a tripawd! (don't anyone say anything - I'm not ready yet)
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
