Comet is quite a spectacular dog. He is typical of most Sammies and will make a good companion and pet. We rarely get a Samoyed at the shelter so we don't expect Comet will be here very long--come in quickly if you want to adopt him.

Samoyeds can be excellent companions, especially for small children or even other dogs, and they remain playful into old age. The breed is characterized by an alert and happy expression which has earned the nickname Smiley dog."
