This just in from the German Shepherd Rescue of Central Florida …
Bridget was found as a stray in South Carolina. She was nursed back to health and treated for heartworm disease, therefore she is now heartworm negative.
We do not know how she lost her leg, but you can tell by looking at her face this 5-year-old has had a rough life before coming to Florida. Despite all that Bridget has been through she is a happy, loving and friendly girl. She gets along with my two male dogs, my foster female dogs and the cats. She is active and loves swimming in the pond!
She is great in the house, does not chew, and is house trained, but may not do well in a home with kitties. If you are looking for a wonderful mature companion please e-mail jan@fivemacs.com or call 407 774-5370.
