Do you know of any three legged or otherwise physically challenged Pit Bulls in need of a new home or proper care?

We here at Tripawds were recently contacted by the producer of a popular television show who may be able to help provide the resources needed for amputation, cancer treatment, or physical therapy for a rescue Pit Bull…

"We are looking for stories about Pit Bulls who need care, but may be in situations where they might not be able to receive the help they need. Maybe you know of a pit bull with cancer or in need of an amputation, but the treatment costs are too expensive for the shelter. We might be able to help, and would like to hear your story. Ideally we are looking for Pit Bulls near the greater Los Angeles area, but we will follow up on all leads. Thank you!"

Please contact us directly with info about any Pit Bulls you hear of that may fit this profile. Please include a picture if possible, contact information, and details on what the Pittie needs to survive.

Please DO NOT CROSS POST this announcement without letting us know first OK? Thank you.

May I cross post this to the pitbull forum I post on? LOTS of rescue owners/fosters/affiliates there, great people!

Sure, thanks for asking! Please point people to this topic so we can coordinate communication wit the producers. They are specifically looking for physically challenged Pittie rescues near Southern California who may be in need of help for surgery costs or care expenses.
