Minty doesn't realize that she is missing one of her legs except for maybe when it comes to stairs!! She will fetch her toys all day long (and bring them back to you!) and LOVES to go on walks. Her foster home has a long flight of stairs that goes up to the bedrooms, so Minty stays on the main floor which isn't really an issue because whenever they are awake that is where they are. She just lost her leg about 3 months ago so she could learn to do the stairs just fine with time. She LOVES kids and anyone else that will let her kiss them!! She does need exercise even if it is just a walk because otherwise she gets bored and will chew. She has taken to bones and loves to chew on them. Her three legs don't slow her down and she will make a FABULOUS dog for anyone that wants a great companion. Her foster family and dog LOVE her!!!
- cats would be fine
- 99% house-trained just sometimes needs to be taken outside down the stairs
- wonderful with kids
If you know of anyone looking for a beautiful, Chocolate tripawd to welcome into their family…please pass our website along to them. You can see her pictures and read more of her story at http://www.rock.....rescue.com. I will try to get an updated picture to send you guys. I'm not sure where you are located but we are in Broomfield, CO. Just a little north of Denver.
Thanks for all you do!
