Bo is available for adoption at http://www.almo.....boxers.org. Bo is a 9mo male boxer fawn. Bo is has been in our rescue group for about 6wks and was an owner surrender. Bo was hit by a car and taken to the vet by his owner. Bo had a fractured leg and abrasions. The vet patched him up and sent him home. Bo's leg started to smell due to infection; instead of taking Bo back to the vet the owner re-wrapped his leg and wrapped it way to tight. This cut off the circulation to his foot. The lower part of his leg was severely infected and neurologically dead. When the vet told the owner that his leg would have to be removed the owner wanted to euthanize him. Owner felt that having 3 legs the dog wouldn't have a good quality of life. The vet refused and ask the owner to surrender him to rescue. We had his leg removed at the end of July and Bo hasn't looked back.

Oh, what a cutie! If you go to the website, there's a great video of Bo playng tug-o-war. I hope he finds a great home, he sounds like a great guy!
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.
