Baron is by all accounts an awesome dog who is looking for his furever home. Could it be YOURS????? Check out his story here! His P.O "didn't want no three-legged dog" and abandoned him at the vets to be euthanized. Lucky for Baron said vet wasn't gonna go there......Lets show Baron there are waaaaaay smarter and better peeps out there!

You're making my momma get all teary-eyed! She wants this dog!
Where is he exactly? Where is Southwest German Shep Rescue?

What a beauty!
Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
SouthEAST German Shepherd Rescue is based in W. VA and N. Carolina and serves the Southeastern US.

OH JERRY, I bet they have a pet transport service contact that can get him to you!!!! OMG I just read he's being fostered in Virginia Beach I'm happy to do the pick up for you

Elizabeth, I'll ride with you!!
I have a concern for Baron though.......I'm afraid if the wind catches him just right, those EARS will act like a sail and he'll be blown away!!
This dog has Rene and Jim stamped all over him!! He'll help settle Wyatt down too! Well......okay.....maybe that's a stretch!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Love Baron...and I think Jerry's family needs this guy!
Jerry, Elizabeth and Sally, I work with a couple of transport groups in the Mid-Atlantic. There is a group that flies dogs out of PA. Guessing that with my VA/MD/PA contacts I could help arrange transport from Richmond to PA if y'all could get him from VA Beach, Elizabeth and Sally.
Not sure how often the rescue plane flies (it's a smaller-engine one) but definitely let us know if you're interested, Rene.
Somehow I think Jerry would approve of Wyatt having a brother!
***Crossing fingers and paws that Baron can get the home of a lifetime!***
Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
Awww you guys, this warms my heart and I am SO tempted to take you up on that. I know that Wyatt would love a partner in crime. The problem is we live in a 24' RV, which barely has room for the 3 of us and Wyatt's ginormous dog crate. Now, if y'all can arrange to have Baron transported in a big, free newish RV, let's talk!
Thank you for the offer though. We're doing our best to get the word out about hiim.

Soooooo....hmmmmm....space is the challenge? How 'bout an exchange?
Elozabeth, Deb and I could drop Baron off with you and bring Jim home with us! As cute as he is and so well-traned on computers, I'm sure we could find him a home!

Hey paw-rents on the East Coast or adjacent states... If you, or someone you know, might be interested in beautiful Baron don't let geography get in the way. I have contacts with some transport groups.
Reply here and PM me as well if there is serious interest, and I'll see if I can round up some help.
