Hi Li. Thank you for sharing. I'm assuming this pup is a Tripawd? I can't tell because the Facebook link isn't working. If you can please share more info, such as what shelter she's in and a direct link to that page, that would be great. Thanks again.

you have to sign into facebook for it to work... she's a 5 year old shep/cross and she is a tripawd... her front left leg is gone..
such a sweetie with her tail wagging all the time...
hopefully someone helps her!
Christine... with Franklin in her heart♥
Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack... You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!
Thanks Christine, I wasn't signed in.
I tried getting more info but the Maricopa County shelter website sucks and you can't even look for adoptable animals there. So, that Facebook link and video is all there is about this sweetie. unfortunately Facebook won't let other websites embed their videos so I can't put it here.
Here's more info about her.

I pray this sweet girl finds a truly loving home and it's not too late for her...since it's Friday afternoon.
It's just so heartbreaking that her family turned her over to a high kill shelter because she would get out of the fence. What happened to fixing a problem instead of just walking away...unbelievable!

May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
Agree totally Sahana. I have to believe those people will get their bad juju back at them a thousand times over some day.

Paws crossed that she finds her forever home... Cooper was rescued in the nick of time by an amazing rescuer, Samantha Holton of Girard Lifesaver Resue in Georgia and we are so grateful, life would not be the same if he were not snoring beside me right now...
And we know a thing or two about escape artists, he is a hound after al and loves to follow a scent. But you put mechanisms in place to protect them, you don't turn them over! You'll notice in or pictures that there is always a long lead trailing behind him, although he listens well off-lead 95% of the time, this allows us to catch him easily the 5% of the time that he does not :)!
Is there a local no-kill shelter who might be able to save him?
A.

Agree totally, it's not the dog's fault at all, it's the people who fail in their duty to protect them.
You just reminded me we have a member who does GSD rescue work in AZ, I'll drop her a line in case she hasn't seen this. Thanks.

I've also sent a note to Liz Marshall who does amazing marketing/networking for rescues and dogs-in-need. It is through her blog post about Cooper having been picked up by a newsletter that we found Cooper. Perhaps she can cross-post and network this story...
