Hello,
I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a dog with a deformed front foot available for adoption in my area. I am not sure if there is anyone on here in Maryland but this dog has been in the shelter since the end of October. I have no affiliation with this shelter but I figured I would give this guy a shout out. By the looks of the leg in the picture it may or may not need to be amputated, he seems to have done okay so far but you never know when/if an issue could come up.
Info:
Name of Shelter: Humane Society of Wicomico County
Location: 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21804
Phone: (410) 749-7603
Dog: Frankie, 1.5 year old neutered male, white shepherd mix
Amputation: None, he has a severely deformed front left leg
Description from shelter: "This boy has tremendous heart and spirit. Frankie loves people, loves to chase balls and frisbees. He also LOVES to have his belly rubbed. Frankie is dog selective."
Here is a link to the website: http://www.wico.....g/dogs.asp (just scroll down until you see Frankie)
