He is available through Oklahoma German Shepherd Rescue. He is Soldier/Sully on their website. I think they will adopt to people out of state. Unfortunately his online bio is outdated. It says he was heartworm positive and being treated. He lost his leg due to being shot I follow his current foster on Twitter and he looks perfectly healthy and is running around alot so I assume the treatment was successful! He is living with a pack of dogs and seems to get along well with all of them. His foster dad says "Sully is the sweetest, happiest, most affectionate dog I have ever been around. And that is saying a lot". Contact OGSR for more info! OklahomaGSR@gmail.com or 918-928-9944. If you are on Twitter look up his foster dad--dad to dogs or @WmDeanFrench--he posts a lot of photos and videos of his dogs. Not sure if this link will work but I did a search of all his tweets that mention Sully.
