I was contacted from a rescue group because of the 3-legged dog videos I have up on youtube.

Meet AGA Miles--a young (he's about 3 yrs old although the video says 1 yr old), sweet male Golden Retriever that was found in an Alabama animal shelter. Yes, he's missing his right front leg. Miles has had a rough start to his life. He was shot in the leg and did not receive the medical care he deserved. The leg healed poorly and, because of his limited mobility, he was hit by a car and suffered a fractured leg--the same one with the bullet fragment still lodged.
He is kind, obedient, quiet, shy at first and generally happy-go-lucky. He rides well in a car and is considered housebroken. He gets along with other dogs and doesn't let his disability slow him down. He knows most of his basic commands and is still learning. Ask to meet him! Visit http://www.adop.....om/orphans.

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Thanks for sharing this. He's such a sweetie. Thank Dog he found the right care, it just stinks that he went through so much horrible stuff. Grrrr... Hope he finds a home soon.

Oh sweet pea! Shot and hit by a car!! Geez Louise. Someone's gonna find him and love him - how could they not?? Look at that happy face! Hope he gets a home in time for the holidays.
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
