I keep getting e-mails saying people are adding me as a friend. What does this mean?
Are we not all friends united in fighting cancer in our pups?
I don't know what it means but I am flattered. What is the benefit of having a list of friends? Please don't think I am being obnoxious, I understand how it works on facebook, I just don't know how it works here...

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
well, we'll tell you what we figured out. on your blog, in the admin mode, there's a section called 'friends' at the bottom left. if you click on that, you can add friends to your blog page (little avatar picks in a nice cube area) if you have the friends area set up. go noodle with that section and you'll figure it out. you need to add them as their login appears, as using their actual name doesn't work...good luck!

The search button can work wonders sometimes.
Here's an existing Tech Support topic describing the Tripawds Friends function.
And here's the original blog post with complete details about Tripawds Friends.
Basically, drag the "Friends" widget (Appearance tab) to your desired sidebar location to add the Friends Avatar mosaic to your blog. Then search for and add friends from the, wait for it ... yes – Friends tab. From their, you can also turn off the notification email you're receiving when added as a friend.
Hope this helps.

Elizabeth - I'm about as much of a computer person as you, so don't feel bad. I, for example, added you as a friend on Lincoln's blog. I think this means that you can post comments without moderation, but it may just mean that you and Lincoln are buddies. Anyway, you're our friend because we added you when you started to comment on Lincoln's Blog.
We'll see you Sunday, right?

Let's hope there isn't an email that tells you when someone defriends you!
Oh wait! I would be the one that would know that! Phew! I haven't gotten one yet!

As for you chicken dancer, it will be an honor to meet crazy Wyatt Ray , your wife, and yourself.
Jim, will you be showing us the chicken dance at this event? I am just curious to see if I will need to break a $20.00 into singles.

Uh, actually... the Tripawds Friends function has nothing to do with comment moderation. It merely lets other members know you have friended them and adds their avatar to your Friends widget, with a link to their blog (if they have one).

So glad I gave the disclaimer that I know nothing...because clearly, I know nothing.
Ten bucks...are you kidding? We may have to pool our resources.

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

Hey Sammy's Mom, you know what's a real eye opener? When you befriend someone and they don't reciprocate! OUCH.
Seriously, I was thrilled earlier in the week when I heard of Sammy's visit to the vet. I'm so glad those nasty mets didn't crash the party.
Keep up the great work Sammy,

Aw, Brett, geez.
I didn't even know what it was or how to do it. I keep getting e-mails saying people are making me their friend. I had no clue on what that meant.
I will have to see if I can find the e-mails this weekend so I don't inadvertently hurt anyones feelings and then figure out how to make them my friends too!
It isn't like facebook where they want you to go into mafia wars with them or grow their crops. I didn't know what it was for... I SWEAR!
If you have friended me and feel like I dissed you, my most humble appologies. Let us sing the Barnie song together and make up 🙂
