Hi,
On Jasper Lily's blog, I got a PM today from Erica (Jill's mom) that she can't post comments. Is there some firewall that prevents her from doing so or is it a setting on her computer? I know I sometimes cannot post on people's blogs at the office but I can once I get home and am at my home computer!
Thank you!
Alison (Shelby's mom)

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Hmmm.... "can't post comments" isn't much to go on. What Happens? Erica??? Can you access the blog? does the comments section load on single posts? What happens when you click Submit Comment? What device and browser? PC/Mac or Tablet? Phone?
It looks like Jill has commented successfully before, the last time being 10/15.
There is one blacklisted IP address in your discussion settings, but it does not match any of Erica's. You/we could remove that block, to see if that helps, but it seems to be Virginia based.
Otherwise, I'd really need to know what's going on to be of any better help. But to answer your question, the only block on the server side would be any IP addresses added to your block list. If we had a server level block, the user would not be able to load the site at all.
Just successfully commented from the Mac here, but it appears the selected theme does not like tablets for some reason can't view the site on an iPad. It may have something to do with the background image, or maybe just the theme styles or functions files not being tablet-friendly.
Sally mentioned having problems with Shelby's blog on her tablet too. If Erica's problem is from an iPad or other mobile device, you may want to try a different theme or delete the background image.
Hope this helps!
