I logged in to my blog, then logged out of it. Then I closed my browser (Firefox). Opened another session, went to the Forums, and it shows me (Jet) as Currently Online.

Is this the first time you have had issues signing out?
What about when you sign in on the forums and not the blog?
Did you clear your cookies and cache? If it is the same issue as I have, it will happen when you sign into the forums as well. I have used all browsers makes no difference. And if it is the same issue, you will have to sign in to post even though you are showing up;) It appears that is the case as you used Brad to post here not (Jet)
Admin, this might be a clue? I noticed that I get a word press sign in the past few months when I sign in through the forums. Like I do for Purrkins blog, this did not use to be the case.Â

No, it's happened before. I don't recall when I first noticed it, just thought I should report it this time since it matched the issues you were having. I hadn't logged in to my blog in a while.
What about when you sign in on the forums and not the blog?
In the past after logging in and off my blog, and closing my browser, I've had to go back in and log in on the forums, then log off, and that finally logged me off completely.
If I sign in on the forums and sign off, it shows me logged off.
Did you clear your cookies and cache?
My cookies auto-clear when I close the browser, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Not a big deal of course. But like Holly, if I'm logged out, I want to not be shown as logged in.
Here's another screenshot. It showed me logged in, but wouldn't let me post as Jet (only Guest).
Unfortunately, we have no further recommendations other than the steps that have been proposed already in this thread.Â
The latest WordPress update appears to have removed the Super Admin ability to edit users and force them to "log out everywhere". This may suggest the cause for these new issues, and it is beyond our control. We'll check back in after the next update.
