Okay...just tried to give Penny five stars and could inly do two. The arrow thing is doing nothing other than scrolling me backnup to the top.

Haven't tried rating on our ipad yet, so I'm not sure why the green robot won't let you tap the stars you want. Try zooming in to enlarge them.

Okay....I enlarged at tapped the fifth star and all five lit up. YAAAAAAAAAY!
AND, I know you're LYAO at the arrow thing!!! It's okay....I am too!!! Well, I'd never used it before...and it was sitting next to the stars.....so I just thought, well....maybe.....!
Of course now I see that *&$#* arrow on every post in the same spot...just like it has been for years!
So...I guess if I want to vote five stars, I just touch the fifth star......now I'll see what happens on the next post and tap the third star and see if that lights up three.
Thanks again Jim. Trust me, if it were not for this site I would throw this computer in a swamp and never, ever try and use one again!!! Being computer illiterate in today's computer addicted world stinks!!!

I was having trouble trying to figure this out.......I was just able to finally give Sally 5 stars on her last post, but still trying to understand the entire concept.....I am the LEAST literate computer person here, Sally is way better than me with computers I'm certain....

Oh my dear Bonnie, thank you for trying to make me feel like I'm not alone in having no computer savvy whatsoever....but I'm pretty sure you'd have to lose a few more brain cells before you reach my level of incompetence! I wouldn't get any stars if we had a computer skill vote!!!! Most typos....yeah, I'd win that hands down!!!

Any member can "rate" a post/reply from 0-5 by clicking the corresponding star (or no star) next to that post.
You can only rate a post once, and cannot change your rating.
You cannot rate your own posts.
This allows members to vote for their favorite replies to a topic.
The number of stars highlighted equals the aggregate sum total of ratings for that post—stars rated divided by number of users who rated the post.
We're thinking this may be an easy way to host our own fun contests without relying on some Faceborg App.
We will not be implementing this for all forums, and would likely disable the function after a contest is over.

And....I was able to do a three star test! Your explanation is a FIVE star, but I just wanted to see if I could make less work too!
Okay, don't any ofnyou smart comouter geeks read this....this is just for BONNIE!!! Bonnie, this isnw like Amazon where you touch the stars individually to ge the number you want. Here, if y i u want five stars, you touch the fifth star......three stars, you touch the third star......not individually counting up to three or five or whatever. At least, that's how it is with a tablet.

Thank you, Sally, admin and you helped out with my lack of computer knowledge, but I can still guarantee that I have less computer brain cells than you, lol !!! I can ALWAYS read through all your posts and understand every single word you type! Even when I became a new member over a year ago, I didn't post right away because it took me almost a month of browsing and reading, just trying to learn how to navigate the site, now THAT is pitiful.......!! Oh, and I was giving your posts 5 stars as well !!

Sorry Sally, I didn't get your message to start another post until now but it looks like everyone has it all figured out. I did the exact same thing and hit the arrow several times that brought me to the top of the page. I blame my computer skill inadequacies on growing up in the Bay Area in the 60's.
