Here's what I see (I'll delete it when you see it or you can delete
since it's a lot of info)

Well, it was last night, but IE8 is obviously still having a hard time. As I mentioned, feed interoperability with all readers, is a challenge if not impossible sometimes when you consider the broad range of content from communities like this.
I have actually been working with a couple different experts on this. All who confirm that the feed is currently pulling properly in Google Reader, NetNewsWire, and Bloglines. These same people sigh when I mention the feed is broken in Internet Explorer. Sorry.
I don't even know how to use Exploder as a reader. But after editing certain post content, I deleted my subscriprion from NetNewsWire and re-added it and now it's working fine. We'll tell those monkeys to get back to work on this.

Do us all a favor and check the feed again. If necessary, unsubscribe and resubscribe to the same feed. The monkeys have just figured out a workaround and confirmed functionality in a dozen different news readers, just no way to check IE8 here and Rene is too busy for me to hijack her machine.
The workaround does, however, severely limit the content we would like users to be able to share – like embedding videos in their posts! So, not sure if we'll police that very closely. Just curious if the fix works for you.

No, I'm sorry it didn't fix it.
There really isn't a way to unsubscibe thru the browser but I can subscribe on Windows live Mail and it didn't have an update either. I can alway download Google's if it doesn't work on IE anymore.
I absolutely have no knowlegde of RSS Feeds - it was brand new to me with IE8.

STOP THE PRESSES!
I just clicked the RSS feed "button" icon on the toolbar on IE8 and it is updated! I didn't even know I could do that! https://tripawds.com/feed/
All Blogs Comment Feed okay here

Which feed button on whose toolbar? Tripawds.com/feed/ will only serve up posts from Jerry's main News blog . The Global Posts feed is still functioning flawlessly in our tests with multiple readers here.
At this point I can only suggest trying another news reader client software. That, or as I was told in the feed plugin developer's support forum, we might have to mark this as "won't fix".
This is clearly not an issue with the feed, rather how different readers syndicate the content. Supposedly for "security" reasons, RSS feeds cannot contain object, embed, or noscript tags. So, if we prohibit bloggers from embedding videos in their posts, we might be able to get this working for all readers. But we're not about to do that.

Yeah, I just edited my post and added - it's not a global feed.

For anyone intersted in subscribing to blog feeds, Sue Waters from Edublogs has created a thorough tutorial for setting up Google Reader. You can skip to step 7 if you already have a gmail account or don't care to go the whole iGoogle dashboard route.

Just an update to say the blog feed is working properly again. I just checked and it's updated! YAY!

Thank you for that update! We were certain the campaign letter would kill the feed again.
