I don't want to take another blog site (I wasn't that good with the one I have), but would like to add another avatar for MB Wrigley. It would be cool to add a small picture of Wrigley alongside, or tucked into, the photo of Sammy so I could post for both. If that isn't feasible, a separate avatar for Wrigley would be fine but i don't see how to do that without taking another site.
Can you help me?

Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.
i think you could photoshop a picture with both in it, and use that. look at comet's avatar, and you'll see what i mean. i'm not computer savvy, but i know it works.. can't wait to see the new pic!!

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.

The ony way to have a second user avatar would be to create another user account, like Gelena has done for that silly MBVP. You do not need to create another blog. You would just have to register again using a different email address, and and select the option for no blog, just a user account when signing up.
Or, like Charon suggested, create an image to use as your current avatar with small images of both dogs. I'm sur Gelena could help with that if you like what she's done for the cometdog avatar, or feel free to send us to small photos and we'll work something up for you.
Hope this helps! And thank you for not creating another new blog if it's not going to be used.

Thanks. guys! I will tackle this when I get home. Charon, we are going to Chicago for a Cubs game this weekend. And, yes, we really suck this year ... another building year. Sigh.
Anyway, I don't have photoshop anymore. I had several layout and design programs when I worked but I couldn't justify adding it to my little Mac when I retired. I have iphoto, but as far as I have determined, I don't think I can creatively combine two photos. I may ask my daughter to do it at work and e-mail it to me. Or, I will talk to Gelena. some people call her G'lena, too, don't they?
As for signing up to another account with a different e-mail address, at this point I don't have a second e-mail. I suppose I could always sign up to a free gmail account or something. I will work something out.
If all fails, Admin guy, I may beg your help. What size photos would you need? Right now I divide the resolution by four and it seems to work.
Thanks again!

After I rudely called you Admin guy, Jim, I looked up your name. Sorry!

I rudely called you Admin guy...
Don't be silly. I've been called much worse...
And feel free to send a couple images, and a description of what you envision for the new avatar, considering its small size. Avatars appear no larger than 128x128, so I don't need very large images at all. And no, iPhoto isn't designed for manipulating images.

Some call me worse!!! And I usually answer to both!! (it's actually Ge'Lena sounded like Selena with a soft "G". - and yes, I'd like a do-over on my name!)
Anyone can always email or PM and I'll be happy to make up an avatar. It doesn't matter what size photo you send since I'll redo it anyway.
Yes, some of us have separate accounts. But Monkeybutt opened his own account, not me! Signing up for a gmail acct is the best way to handle a separate acct.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
