Hey Everypawdy, are you all out enjoying your weekend? Forums seem awfully quiet today. Just want to make sure everything's alright. Let us know if you're experiencing any tech issues, K?
Hoppy Sunday!

Oh that's so great to hear, thank you! And it's even cooler that Jack is doing SUPER!!! YEAAAY!!!! So I guess when it's quiet here in the Forums I should think "no news is SUPER news, right?!"

I hear the weather is finally nice on the east coast... maybe that's it. Plus, it is Oscar night.
Me decided to get out and about and hit a charity thrift store. Scored a beautiful old chromolithograph gorgeously framed for $40! I'm still assessing the value. I'm a 'American Picker' at heart. I would dig in old barns but you can't find that here in Vegas. Old is here is mid century modern circa 1967.
I'm dying to go to the Pawn Shop featured on the History Channel to see what all they have. It's a real crummy place but I'd like go see what all they have.
Just making conversation...
Hey, Jerry why don't you fix your broken link on your sig line?
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Jack - when do we get to see your 9th ampuversary video? We are still waiting . . .
Things are just too busy in Winnipeg, have been for well over a month now. And, no tripawd in the house at present. Not even a quadraped "mixed canine" of any description. Only a quadraped mixed feline named Pup. Having said that, I did notice that he was holding his right front leg up in the air a few times in the last couple of weeks. Maybe we should get that checked out.

What broken link?
It's a good thing we don't have TV because if Mom saw that pawn shop she'd make Dad point the RV there. Dad isn't as big a fan of yard sailing or thrift store shoppin.
Tazzie, maybe Pup is going "hey look at ME! I'm as cool as those TRIPAWDS you're always talking to!"
Good to hear from you gals, thanks for letting us know. The Oscars. Yeah. We forgot (no TV!).

It's a broken link on my end and has been for a couple of weeks.

HEY, Dad - didn't the 'Original Barney' come from a yard sale? Need I say more. There are treasures to be found!
No TV! How do you go to sleep at night? I've been falling asleep to TV since David Letterman had a show AFTER Johnny Carson!
FYI, "American Pickers" is a new show on the History Channel in which they dig around in people's old barns and out-buildings and buy the stuff they can re-sell.

Things are good here. Holly's going back for her bloodwork today to see if she can get chemo tomorrow. I think Cool Cat Comet was right - the vet probably just had a golf game scheduled last week and Holly's probably fine!
I'd love to go digging around in old barns with you! But there aren't too many of those here in Chicago, either. Could be a fun tripawd road trip someday, though!
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Yeah, I figured Pup thinks, "well this missing leg thingy got Tazzie loads of attention. Let's see if it works for me." Afraid it just doesn't work as well when a cat is involved, at least in my house. I guess you could figure that one out by the cat's name! (Ok, if he truly is sick I will feel really really guilty )
Taz,
Let's just fix your problem right now! Here's what's available at the Winnepeg Pet Rescue. PICK ONE!

Hey Holly's mom! Let's leave the furry chick-a-doodles at home! When I'm on a treasure hunt, I don't want any lagers holding me up!

D'oh! Thanks for pointing that out. We just fixed Jerry's signature ... that image url has apparently been broken since our WPMU migration.
