I tried to change the avatar and it said I do not have sufficient permission.  What does that mean and how can I change the avatar?question

Harley is an 8 year old Golden Retriever. Amp surgery for an infiltrative lipoma canceled due to two masses in chest. A rescue, he found his forever home on 3/18/07 and left for his eternal home on 1/09/13. His story and medical history are at http://myharley.....pawds.com/

Thanks for asking the question-I am having the exact same problemsmiley

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Hi Ursa and family.  I read your blog the other day and was so moved.  Ursa is beautiful and I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.  I have an 8 year old golden named Harley who will have a front left amputation on Tuesday so after about 9 months of struggling with the a decision I finally decided to take the step and wanted to put his story and photo out there.  I could not do this without this website.

Hmm... this is the first time we've ever heard of anyone mentioning permissions problems with avatar upload. Sorry for the inconvenience. We have now fixed the issue, please advise if problems persist when uploading user or blog avatars. Instructions follow:

  1. Click your Profile button at the top of any Forums page.
  2. Follow the link directly to your User Avatar Upload page.
  3. Click "Choose File" to select small image from your hard drive (.jpg file recommended at least 150x150 no larger than 500± KB )
  4. Click Upload Button.
  5. Drag to crop image.
  6. Save Avatar.
  7. If you experience upload or cropping problems use "Alternative Upload" button.

Please note that if your avatar displays in your profile, it has been successfully uploaded. If the default or a previous avatar continues to display in the forums, you may need to force-reload your browser or empty the cache.

Success! Yay! And thanks, Kathyl. I'll be thinking of Harley this week too. He and Ursa are going to rock it as Tripawds. xo
