Hi admin
this morning I posted a comment On Euridice’s travels to Europe and it appeared to have gone through. But then I started to get a number of emails, but when I would try to connect with the forum, it gave me an error message. This picture is one of the latest error messages I get when I try.
plus when I went into my subscriptions to have a look at the comments that way, only your latest one shows up, but not mine.
hope this helps.
Hmm...can't tell from that small screenshot what page you're viewing there. A link to the topic, and page of the topic would help. Eurydice has various topics about "travels in europe".
Is the "latest error message" in the screenshot the same as previous ones? Or what did the other errors say?
What emails? Topic subscription reply notifications? "A number of emails" as in duplicate emails or notifications of multiple replies?
FYI: The "Review Subscribed Topics" pop-up window will only show the topic title and most recent post/reply.
Is the problem still persisting?
If you would like us to have closer look and save time going back and forth here, please send a PM with your password.
Thanks!

We were able to replicate the topic not found error, though the reply does post.
The error was a result of an emoji being using in the topic title and slug. Once that was edited out, posts are saving and the page is reloading as expected.
Note to all: Please do not use emojis in forum topics!
Just look what happens to the topic slug when saving a reply!

Hi Admin
so sorry, I’ve created a nightmare haven’t I?! You did mention an issue with emojis before, I just had t realized to what detriment! The bloomin emojis are far too convenient and colourful! NO MORE EMOJIS FROM ME!! Do I need to take them out of my signature? Can I still use them in my blogs?
I saw that you had commented early this afternoon to the forum I was referring too and when I hit the link (which is far longer than usual...) the same thing happened with Teresa’s comments. I also took a picture of 3 screens, one of my email page, to show you which message I’m refering to and the subsequent two pages that follow that thread.
Aaack! I hope that I haven’t caused a major issue! I hope all this info helps. Could you let me know if there is anything else that you need from me?
Thank you for being so patient with me....

Not at all! Au contraire...you have helped identify a bad dream caused by emojis used in forum topic titles. The issue has been confirmed and reported to the plugin developers. So thank you.
EMOJIS FROM ME!! Do I need to take them out of my signature?
No.
Can I still use them in my blogs?
Yes, please just refrain from using them in Blog Post Titles.
I hope that I haven’t caused a major issue!
Not. At. All.
I hope all this info helps.
Very much so.
Could you let me know if there is anything else that you need from me?
Not at all, unless you are experiencing any further technical issues.
There may be other Tripawds forum topics where this issue occurs, and they will likely/probably have an emoji in the title. Feel free to report them here with a link in the reply, or just refresh the topic page and see that the reply has posted.
Thank you...
No, thank you again for the details you have provided here!

You guys are great! Thank you. I want to add a quick note as to a spam comment that shows up today. It is going to be deleted as soon as you say I can do so. I have sent a screen shot of it to you in an email (attn: Rene) and it’s not how you might say, acceptable. I figured you would need the picture for the source of the comment...
cheers to you all. Great team!
