Since the upgrade to Simple:Press 4.0.3 the default post editor may have reverted to HTML for some users. You can easily select your preferred editor by updating your profile...
- Be sure you are logged in.
- Click your Profile button (at top right).
- Select your desired editor.
- Click the "Update Profile" button.
The "TinyMCE" method is the recommended WYSIWYG editor. This is the same Rich Text Editor that is available for post and page creation within WordPress. If preferred, one of the "QuickTags" editor methods can be invoked which use standard HTML or BBcode syntax. A plain textarea box can also be used.

Update: Your default post editor is now selected via the Personal Options tab in your Forum profile. This is different from yout Tripawds Blog dashboard User Profile, and is accessed via your Profile button at the top of any Forum page. select Rich text / Tiny MCE and update your profile if tool icons such as Insert/Edit Image do not appear above your current post editor.
