Hi everypawdy. We got a lot of good feedback when we held our Zoom Tribute to Wyatt Ray. Many people said they like the idea of doing a quarterly video hangout to celebrate our Tripawds of yesterday and today, and just get to know each other better. We like that idea too!
Since we have a Zoom subscription, we will use that format. My question to you is: what do you think is the best time/day of the week to do a quarterly hangout? I'm guessing most people would want this to be an evening thing but I'd like to hear from you. Can you share your thoughts below? Once we have some feedback we'll make it official and post an announcement in the blog. Thank you so much!

Anytime on the weekend, or evening during the week works for me.
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

Ugh...work week ends and most evenings....HOWEVER...off Mndays and Tuesdays....i know week ends are best for most.....could maybe make a Sunday evening work though👍
Jackie has been kind enough to offet to TRY and set up some tavlet zoom training with me ahead of time.
Curious....did everyone else see each others mug all at once after you signed
And next time I won't be wearing a $3.00 Christmas wreath around my neck without being able to explain! I had a candle for Wyatt that I was going to put the wreath around and say a little something
I think I sorta got most the thoughts out in some chaotic discombobulated way.....but still felt the meed to explain why I showed up with a wreath around my neck🎄🎄🤪🤪
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
What is really amazing, Sally, is that I did not even think to question why you were wearing a wreath that day. It just seemed to fit perfectly with the joyful and exuberant personality you have!
I like evenings and weekends, too.
Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com
Hahaha Stacy....yes, it was to help add some joy to the event as well, ...but not sure everyone saw it that way as tavlet typoing people are seen as a a touch odd by those techie computer people😱 😉
Can't wait to see everybody and any pups who happen to be in the background. Can't wait to see Griffin dressed up in his Christmas wreath!!
♥️♥️♥️
Hmmm.osnt there a picture somewhere with Wyatt Ray wearing a wreath??

As far as evenings I can not do Wednesdays.
Otherwise pretty open.
If it's hard to find a time maybe you can do rotating times.... for example in a year do 2 quarterly meetings on a weekday evening and 2 quarterly meetings on a weekend evening. Or maybe 2 meetings during the day in a year. Depends on the input you get back.

If I am the only European, ignore me, but if you're doing evenings, depending on the time zone, I probably won't be able to attend ever without getting up in the middle of the night... 🙂

The end of our adventures came Dec 10, 2017. 2 years to the day.
It would be so nice to see everypawdy again I have been playing with the zoom app and that is how I was able to spend time with my family on Thanksgiving. We all stayed at our respective homes and got on a zoom call. There was 6 of us and it worked out pretty well for a bunch of newbies 🙂
Sally, everypawdy had to get around that no video/no sound at first... we all got it worked out but it was a learning curve. Each time I use it, it gets a little easier. How many people you see depends on how you have your screen set up. The larger your screen, the more you can see at once. I think on the tavlet you might be able to slide to the rignt and left to see all the people that you cannot see on the main screen. I can show you. Ditto Stacy, I never even gave that wreath a second thought, lol.
I am home by 5pm EST Mon-Fri, and I can manage most times if it is the weekend. I have all the federal holidays off, even the ones like President's Day where most work it. I will try to work around whatever the easiest time works for the majority.
Tina, how many hours difference are you from eastern standard time?
Look forward to this. Maybe we can all have the free time prior and after meeting to chat freely instead of waiting room? Just a thought 🙂

Oh wow this makes my heart so hoppy! Thanks for sharing the feedback!
Funny about the wreath...I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to ask you about it Sally! I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and not all there, forgive me. It was really adorable though. And neither Jim nor I can think of a photo with Wyatt wearing a wreath (say that 10 times!). We have plenty of him wearing ribbons though.
OK about the Zoom gathering, I'll address some questions now:
If it’s hard to find a time maybe you can do rotating times…. for example in a year do 2 quarterly meetings on a weekday evening and 2 quarterly meetings on a weekend evening. Or maybe 2 meetings during the day in a year.
I like this idea! More on that in a sec...

Well we could never ignore you Tina! But your'e right. Time Zone Converter says that if it's 6pm in New York, it's midnight in Germany right? That's such a bummer! That's why I really like Karen's idea about rotating times throughout the year. We could switch it up for European members, it would be wonderful! We might need to do it more often too!
Maybe we can all have the free time prior and after meeting to chat freely instead of waiting room?
Absolutely!
OK so how's this for a proposed schedule of meeting times. How does this work for everyone? We're flexible!

I think those dates/times are awesome. It will be so much fun to meet have friends in so many time zones join the calls!
I think September 6, 2021 is Monday (Labor Day), not Tuesday.

Thank you! (If I am the only European to attend you may want to reconsider, but I do appreciate it!)
Can we maybe put this in a downloadable calender format? Pretty please? Jim?? Calovo or something?
thank you and can't wait to see everyone!
