Today we went and picked up Snoop. He was so happy to see us. We were besides ourselves to say the least. We had our consult for post surgery care, all meds explained, and what they expect in healing from him. What we should watch etc. his incision is pretty intense but overall better than what I imagined. Not much swelling and just a bit of fluid.
When he realized we were all leaving together he tried to pick up speed walking to get to the car! We loaded him in the car well, had it all set with a bed in back and bolsters we made for support, cranked the ac(it was 92 here today) he lied down wagging his tail! The staff that were all involved in his care came out to the car to say goodbye to him. He was smiling and wagging that tail, cause he knew he was going HOME! They were all wonderful to him I could tell by how he was with them. I think he knew that they were all trying to help him.
We are all so happy he's back home. We had a good appetite tonight, went out and piddled and even made a poop!, we are resting quietly and seems comfortably.
My heart is overflowing to have my boy back home. So now we rest, and get stronger.

Sorry, but nope.
We went ahead and deleted your three posts with the links you shared since they all required a Yahoo log-in to view the album. Photos must be publicly viewable for others to see them. Here are detailed instructions for adding photos to forum posts. Basically, view your photo and right-click on it to get the file elocation then paste that into the Image URL field in the post editor (small tree icon). You wont have the editor on a mobile devise, so just paste the direct link to the image file and is should auto-embed, if it is public. Hope this helps!

Wow! It sounds like Snoop is doing awesome. All that peeing and pooping accomplished the first day home! Snoop is showing everyone how tough a tripawd really is.
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Hi there! Well done, Snoop, on such a good recovery.
I had an easy time posting photos by opening a photobucket account and just copying across a couple of Facebook albums. The site makes this very simple and prompts you at every turn. Then you hit a little bar on the right of the page once you have selected a photo, this copies the URL that you then paste into your post here. I was sure it wouldn't work as it was quite straightforward, but it did.
It would be lovely to see some photos of Snoop, good luck!
Thanks for your good wishes to Dotty. It is interesting to see the difference in their recoveries, Dot certainly gave us a tough few days but I do believe there is light at the end of the tunnel now. Touch wood.
Pats for Snoop.

I think we got it right this time, he's my beautiful before our surgery, and post amputation, looking great. Today was a little uncomfortable we adjusted pain meds, hope to have a better pm. Appetite still good, good water intake and good poops! And a beautiful attitude, licking and loving everyone,as he always does.
Great job Snoop. You are looking great. Pretty good for so soon after amputation.
hugs
