YAAAAAAAAAAY!! She's home!! The sirgery is done and now the recovery can begin!!
Now, she's still full of hospital pain meds so, when they wear off in a few days, you may see an "uhapo camper" for a vit. Not sure what the vet reduced herpain meds to, but he may bump them backup if necessary.
Yes, you have a lot of research to do AND you have time to do it. For now, would just give yoorselves a little "emotinal few days off" and just focus on the recovery. You thought you spoiled her and loved her before? OMD!!! That was nothing compared to what's going to take place every second of evdryday from here on out!
Now go celebrate her homecoming with chicken for her and chocolate for you!! And let us know when she has her first poop! We like to celebrate those around here too!!
Look forward to more updates and hotos of your sweet girl!
Sending lots of hugs and love!
Sally and Happy Hannah
PS Happy Hannah...rear leg amp....osteosarcoma...four rounds of carboplatin.....no side effects.....just celebrated one year ampuversary in Fevruary!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
You may want to read Dr. Loops' protocol at http://www.char.....osarcoma-1. Greta started on his serum treatment plan the day after coming home and I've purchased a bunch of supplements which I have not yet started (purchased most supplements on Amazon). I will get around to posting everything eventually to Greta's thread. I choose this route due to cost and side effects of chemo.
So happy to hear Clio is doing well.

Thanks so much for reminding me about his protocol, we'll be sure to share it in the Tripawds Nutrition blog too. And we'd love to hear more about how Greta does on it so good luck and keep us posted!
Oh, when you buy more stuff on Amazon, dog-related or not, we hope you'll remember to buy stuff here through the Tripawds Amazon blog, all purchases help support the community! Thanks so much.
