This was taken the day she had her third chemo session
Lots of hugs to everybody and tummy rubs to all doggies and kitties XXX
Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

I love how Fred wants to "sniff butt greet" her, but he needs a step ladder!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

It is a bit of a disaster now with males as she is "on heat" and might stay that way until the end of chemo, i.e. end of August ...
In the meantime I am trying to post videos which do not require PG but it sure is hard to get it right ...

She is really doing great!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
She's friends with everyone! I'm happy to hear she's doing so well.

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17

Yes, she has always been as good as gold with smaller dogs, she definitely has a soft spot for chihuahuas she lies down immediately and waits for them to be comfortable before even batting an eye lid ... I will try to post a video when we next meet one
I confess I have been having some heart breaking moments lately as sometimes my memories of her running as fast as the wind take over ... so I have to thank you all so much for helping me accept this is the new normal and she is still my girl ... and she is happy

I understand about your heart-breaking moments. I still have a few of those twinges. Although I work to be positive about how well Mona is doing, I also see how much work it is to hop/walk. I have to admit I do lift her off the bed and carry her down the stairs every so often. I know you can't carry Eurydice but maybe she'd like a car ride with her head out the window and ears flapping in the breeze?
I'm so proud of our tripawds. This forum has taught me that it's also healthy to grieve the loss of a leg and to spoil our pets a little bit more than than we usually would have.
You and Eurydice are a great team. Your photos and videos of Eurydice exude great joy. She is so easy to love.

You are right, I would love to be able to carry Eurydice but only superman could ...
I do take her on car rides but what I've noticed is that before the amp she would sit there looking out all the time (she goes in the boot) and now because she can't sit for long relying on her remaining leg she prefers to lie down.
So I take her to different places and then open the boot and sit next to her so she can sniff the air and look at all the action.
Oh, thanks to you and the SDP project you told me about I am now inquiring on how Eurydice can be of assistance to other people.
I asked at her hospital what I could do and they just sent me a link which I will investigate tomorrow.
I am hoping we will be able to visit hospitals, schools and/or old people's homes so they can see how she manages on three legs and hopefully that will be beneficial for the ones interacting with my girl.
She absolutely adores people so I am sure she will be as good as gold.
