Ohhh we can't wait to see the beach pictures!
Paws crossed that the chemo is working. Yes, as Dr. Hohenhaus said today, sometimes chemo needs to be modified based on the dog's current situation. Maybe that's what happened. Awesome that you are so on top of things.

Hi all
Chemo number 4 down and chest X-ray came back clear - so all great news. We are going to do 6 treatments as the oncologist says the extra 2 treatments are showing results for improving survival. And we want to ensure we give him the best chance. Recovery was good for number 4. He was more knocked around by the sedative to do the xray. So very drowsy when we got him home and a little uncoordinated. Which is always fun for. 60kg blue giraffe.
Happy hopping all
love Kirsty and Duke
Thanks as always Kirsty and Duke
Fabulous news Kirsty! Give that big blue giraffe a big hug around his neck from all of us. Congrats on knocking down those chemos!

Kristy -
I'm just came across your story. Go Duke! Getting through the four treatments is a great mile marker. WOOOOHHOOOO!
The first few weeks ARE tough and it is funny once you are on the other side of it all.
I agree with Sally - photos are the best. It took me a while to get them up there, too.

The magnificent Duchess, our Great Dane, brought us here. Diagnosed early July, 2014, Duchess had her front, left amp a week later. She handled her four rounds of carboplantin like a champ. She earned her wings late January 2015. A royal reincarnated into a wee-dane, she was bursting with personality and demands. We miss her a lot and are very thankful for the time we had with her. We welcomed a new rescue Dane into the family in March - Maverick! We're thankful he doesn't realize we'd meet all his demands if he put them out there.
