Hi Friends!
Well it has been a bit over 3 1/2 months of pretty consistent and constant care. I finished my MRSA /skin infection antibiotics about a week ago. My knee is healing and I am regaining strength and mobility. I can walk almost a 1/4 mile before my leg weakens and begins to buckle.
This past weekend I was back to being a DOG!!!! Look at the smile on my face…my mom said that smile was priceless! iShe had some water leaking down her face…something about tears from joy!
I even asked my peeps to throw some sticks for me!
Stupid Daisy dog was trying to beat me to all of them but I showed that monkey butt girl!
I was showing full out Budness!
Thanks and a special paws up to my tripawd friends!
Bud

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Hey Bud, that kinda looks like fun. I've never gone swimming before, but I've heard a rumor I'm going this summer. What's it like? Where do you swim? Sticks, though, I'm very familiar with. I love my sticks, especially big dirty ones on the living room carpet. Is that where you like yours the most?
I'm really happy that you are done with your pills. Do you have to go back to the v-e-t later to find out if it all worked for you? Man, I hope you're done with that. You really need to get back to the important business, like getting those sticks and sitting on Daisy. Let me know if you need any help with that. My Woman said we can be there in half a day, I think.
Love, Dakota
From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
Dakota's thoughtful and erudite blog is at http://shari.tr.....pawds.com/
Oh Bud, what a great way to start my day! You look sooooo hoppy! Congrats on beating that nasty mrsa. We hope you can come see us in Colorado this summer so you can show Wyatt Ray how to swim. Keep it up!

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Nothing better than full-out Budness!

TATE ~ Forever in our hearts.
Thanks everypawdy Charon,Cathy, Karen, Tates'Peeps, G'lena...all of you for your kind and encouraging words!!! I hope your smiles were as big as Bud's
Shari, We went and saw that vet fella every two weeks so hopefully we are done for awhile...just to pick up thyroid meds and diet dog food I hope. Please tell Dakota that Bud's favoritest place to swim is a lake called Glendo and I'm not exactly sure but I would guess its just over a couple hours for you and an hour and 1/2 for us. There is always tons of CO folks there so iffen Dakota ever wants to come try it out for a day, we sure would loooove it! There should be plenty of sticks in the water since there is lots of water this year. Are you goin to the park thing in June? PM if you are so we could maybe meet up!!!!
Renae and Jim, that would be a hoot! We are thinking about comming to meet Wyatt in June at the Park! How fun would that be!!!
Angel and Bud
Wow Bud! you sure have been through a lot and I'm so glad to see you having fun . I haven't figured out if Ranger can swim yet. He's not afraid of the water, and he loves to fetch stuff....maybe some day I'll throw something in the pool and see what happens (with his life vest on of course, because I'm a "fraidy cat",and over protective Mom) Looks to me like you're in for a really great summer!

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Sure Riley....Come on over...that lake has plenty of sticks for all of us!!!!...you would probably already have sunshine there though before you got here! Here you have to deal with the pesky WYO WIND!!!
Thanks Elizabeth...your pack is pretty awesome too and we are hoping things are still going better for you at work and with the pups!
