Just a shout out to GerrysMom and Gerry himself for meeting Brady and I at his Chemo appointment today!!
This was to be Brady's chemo #3 but his Neutrophil was a little low so he didn't get treatment today. The cutoff is 1.5 and he was at 1.44....The Oncologist knows best We will try again on Thursday!
But THANK YOU to Tripawds for matching me with another Tripawd pawrent in the area! And THANK you to Bri and Gerry for coming to meet us today!!! You are both wonderful!!!!
xoxo
Well I'm sorry Brady didn't get his chemo today but yes, better to be safe.
And I am SO JEALOUS you met Bri and Gerry!!!!! Wow you lucky lucky ducks! Those two are long-time Tripawds supporters and very near and dear to me personally as well as the Tripawds Nation. I hope to be as lucky and meet them some day. That's soo neat you met!!!

Gosh! How did I forget to take pics????!!!! I'm off my game.
Funny story:
Brady's mom and I met a little greyhound and his mom in the office today. She began to share with us what the little escape artist (prior to her arrival to pick him up) was in for and when she got to the part where, "So, he had to have his ear amputated..." that was the first either Brady's Mom or I noticed that he was missing an ear. Oh my gosh! How many times have people said that about Gerry (and Yoda)? A bazillion? No one is immune.
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.
Videos and pics of Gerry's pawesomeness can be found at: http://gerry.tripawds.com
OK now THAT is a funny coincidence! I wish I could think of a cute word for an ear amputee. Any suggestions?
And yeah, no pics?! OK next time for sure.

Great you guys were avle ro get together...very special tme with very special people!!
Ear amp? The only thing I can think of that will be difficult for an ear amputee is things will no longer "go in one ear out the other"!.....Sorry, couldn't resist!
And yes girls, next time pictures!!! You may have to meet up again just for that purpose!
Hugs and love to all! Let us kow how Thrusday's appt. goes for Brady. Delays are not uncommon at all!
