Dear Kim, Tika, Caya, and Tim,
We are so praying for you and both of your girls. I am just so sorry that you are facing these issues with them, at the same time to top it off. I am hoping that your vet can find the solution for Caya's infection/kidney problems. As for Tika, you know my prayers have been with her and will be until the end and after. It breaks my heart for you.
Debra & Angel Emily
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
I can't even imagine what you and your family are going through. Please know that everyone here supports you, and are praying for Tika and Caya.
I know you're trying to be strong, but it's OK to feel helpless and scared. Heck, you can even get angry and scream if you want to. It's so not fair that our blessed doggies have to go through so much. We just want to protect them from everything, but sometimes we can't.
You're probably not getting much sleep lately, with so much on your mind, but please try to take care of yourself too.
Please check in when you feel up to it.
Michelle
