Today we are celebrating 8 months. We just got back from being gone for almost a week of camping up in the high country in Arizona. Last summer we made a special trip to take Tasha up to the property in the high country so she could go with us one time. We wanted the memory of her there with us. At the end of the month it will be a year since we got the first diagnoses of cancer, her surgery was scheduled for July 9th but was canceled while she was on the table when her vet inflated her lungs and found suspicious lesions on her lungs, so she was sent home to live out a very short time without her surgery. Life for all of us became such a roller coaster ride over the next three months as her diagnoses changed back and forth between cancer and valley fever. Now almost a year later since her first diagnoses Tasha got to go to the property walk all over, climb up rock hills and roll in the dirt so much that she was a gray dog. She continues to do good and life with our girl is good.
Today we are blessed to post that we are celebrating Tasha's 8th Ampuversary. We are celebrating with goodies, lots of hugs, tummy pets and a hamburger and a doggie ice cream sundae.

Congratulations Tasha! 8 months is so awesome and wow, to get to roll in the dirt and just be a dirty, happy dog. How cool is that? Wishing we were in the high country with you. It was so hot in the valley, we spent most of our time in the pool.
Do I smell Ice Cream in the air? Celebrate! Celebrate! Dance to the music!

She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
