Today I am celebrating my 15 month ampuversary. I am so happy, last nite as I started my ampuversary there was cheering, fireworks, laughfter, hugging, kissing, I think the world celebrated my 15 months with me.
I heard mom say something about I was getting some chicken, a cart ride out into the desert and even the mention of ice cream. Wow I am a lucky dog in so many ways.
Mom has been acting a little strange this week but I roll over look at her give her a big wooof and she gives me a smile comes and gives me some tummy pets, then she seems a little happier. I sure have been getting lots of extra hugs lately and I love that.
I love my life, I am a very happy girl and I especially like ampuversaries ( not totally sure what they are) but mom always makes the day so extra special for me. Yep, I am just one big happy dog!!!
Please my friends ask your pawrents to give you an extra treat to help as I celebrate 15 months.
Love to you all my Tripawds friends and rememberance to all of our heroes that we have lost but that will never be forgotten.

Tasha lost her battle and became my Angel on May 4 2011. Forever in my heart….
Happy Day!! We'll make sure to have some extra treats in your honor. We love it when we have a reason to celebrate.

Tasha,
I was wondering what all the comotion was about at midnight last night, now I know! Mommy even let me lick a little champagne off of her finger! Now that I know that the celebration is for you, I'm sure I'll be gettin' lots of extra treats today. Congratulations Tasha Enjoy your special day!
Ranger
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Wow, Tasha, that sounds like a pretty amazing celebration your mom has planned. Wish we could be there with you, but we'll just celebrate with some goodies of our own.
We like all reasons to celebrated, but are really inspired by those past that 1 year mark. Awesome news for beginning the new year.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Oh Tasha - it just warms my heart to know that you are now at 15 months!!! So amazing!! My Angel Mackenzie wasn't too far behind you so I always knew that her ampuversary was coming up when your mom announced yours. So I'm sure she's up there now wishing you a very happy ampuversary as we are down here. We know you've had a big loss this week too and hope your mom is feeling a little better. It must just make her so happy to know that you are still doing so well (and all of your tripawd friends too!)
Here's to many, many more ampuversaries and celebrations!! Whoo hooo Tasha!!!
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
We are celebrating!
I think mom is a special person to make each 1st day of the month a celebration for you (either that or she gets a paycheck on the 1st and has extra cash!!)!!
Happy 15!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Tasha,
Fifteen months does call for fireworks. We know that every day calls for a celebration of extra belly rubs, extra hugs, and quiet thanks for the time together, but you just made the 1¼ year mark. WOW! I know that living in the day, and enjoying the excitement of every day can make it hard to keep track of such milestones, but that is why our people have calendars. Personally, I would just take the truck ride - or in your case the cart ride in the desert.
Mom and Dad used to pull the fifth wheel down to Mesa for December and January to avoid the rainy season here in NorCal, so I am somewhat aware of the beautiful desert scenery, especially this time of the year. Be careful getting over those dry creek beds, because with all the rain that Mom and Dad have been having lately, the creek beds may be more like ragin rivers.
Be patient with your Mom. I know that it is hard for her right now with Ruby crossing over, and she is so very freightened at the thought of . . . . Well, anyway, my Mom and Dad lost their Allie a few months before my diagnosis, so I know just how hard it is on your Mom. Give her a big hug and curl up in her lap. It will help.
Keep on beating the odds and setting new statistics - More Ampuversaries,
Spirit Cherry
tasha, we'll celebrate for you over here in ET!!!
