10 months is truly worth celebrating!  I'm sorry about your foot but often times good things come out of misfortunes.

It sounds like both you and Tai had a wonderful day  smiley

Way to go Tai!! Happy 10 month ampuversary!! We will be celebrating in your honor with lots of treats and those cheeseburgers you're talking about.  Yum! How lucky are you to get to eat anything you want now.   Sorry to hear about the lung mets - darn I wished that this wasn't happening- maybe once the palladia and cytaxin kick in for another month you'll see some slowing down (I will be keeping my paws crossed).  In the meantime, enjoy your time with your mom - I always thought that things happen for a reason and it looks like her foot surgery is a blessing in disguise.  So please let us know how you're doing and we'll be keeping our paws crossed that you have many more ampuversaries to celebrate!! laugh

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

Happy Anniversary, Tai!  I'm away visiting my daughter, but as soon as I get home we'll celebrate your ampuversary with lots of extra treats all around!

Hugs,

Hello Tai

I am so sorry that I haven't been around and did not know the news about your mets. Grrrrr. I thought you were still clear. Bummer.

Nonetheless, we dawgs certainly are capable of continuing to enjoy life just as much even with those little bumps in the road. I am glad that western Canada is having great weather this fall - at least I hope your weather is similar to what we have been experiencing in the 'peg. Nice weather this time last year certainly helped Tazzie make the most of life despite his big met and I bet the same thing applies to Tai over in Calgary.

I can't remember if you tried Power Mushrooms. They certainly seemed to keep Tazzie full of energy throughout the met period. He was a little dynamo right up to the end. I hope you have as great a November as we did last year.

Here's to celebrating your 10 month ampuversary! Go Tai!
